Title: vécu

Description: Vécu [v.]

1. To have lived

2. To have experienced

A compilation of vignetted scenes reflecting the observed psychological states during the COVID-19 stay-at-home order. In the already highly individualistic society of contemporary America, feelings of isolation and the subsequent need for modes of escapism in daily life have been amplified since March 2020. With subtle references to film and the discreet use of symbolism, the play between recreating generalized experiences from observations both real and fictional aims to blur the line in how we experience our own realities as these two modes often make up our ontological being.
