Kate Saubestre is a French-American scenic artist, designer, and pursuer of many artistic endeavors. Completing her undergrad in illustration in 2016 at Parsons the New School for Design, Kate made good use of her years in the Big Apple interning as a graphic designer and video intern at various companies (The Row, North of New York, Free Arts...) as well as getting her hands dirty in various projects creating projections, sets, videos, graphics and more alongside local NYC bands enjoying the challenge of conveying sound into a visual identity. Kate delved deeper into the music scene when she tried her hand as a booking assistant for Arlene's Grocery, the hotspot rock n roll located in the Lower East Side. After graduating, she then moved to Paris for a short term project working at Asia Now: Paris Asian Art Fair's in-house graphic designer completing a series of web and print design. She then moved to Santa Barbara, California and continues to pave her path as a scenic artist, where she relishes in the joy of being able to paint for a career. She continues to freelance, delving into many projects and enjoys growing in all directions as a designer.
